BUTTER COOKIES FROM CAKE FLOUR

 BUTTER COOKIES USING CAKE FLOUR


INGREDIENTS:

Cake Flour (store bought, ready mix) 1 / Cups

1 Cup Powdered Sugar

3 tbsps of Butter






METHOD:

To a bowl, mix 3 tbsps of butter

1 cup powdered sugar.... Beat well to creamy texture. Sift the 1 1/2 cups of cake flour to the buttery mix above.

Make a stiff dough... And seal it to a plastic sheet.

Chill in refrigerator for 1 hour..

Later, roll to round. Shape them on your choice. Using cookie cutter Preheat oven for 180 deg F for 10 minutes. Place the cookies on baking tray with parchment paper.

Bake them for 8 to 10 minutes.

Delicious, Butter Cookies are ready to taste.

CHEESY GARLIC BREAD

 Cheesy Garlic Bread






For Garlic Butter Spread:

•1/2 cup butter, melted

3 cloves garlic, finely chopped coriander leaves, finely chopped


To Prepare the Dough:

1 cup plain flour / maida / all purpose flour cup warm milk

1/4 1 tsp dry yeast

1 tsp sugar AND pinch of salt

3 garlic pods,finely minced,

1/2 tsp tsp oregano

1 tsp unsalted butter, at room temperature

2 tsp oil


Added Ingredients:

1 cup mozzarella cheese,

chili flakes, oregano and italian herbs as required


Method:


Garlic Dough Recipe:

In a large mixing bowl take warm milk, dry yeast and sugar. mix well.

rest for few minutes. To this, add pinch of salt, gratedarlic and oregano.

Add butter and maida, to the above yeast mix, make the dough ready by adding oil.

Cover and rest it for 3 to 4 hours.


How to do Garlic Bread:

Again knead the dough well.

In a small bowl mix in butter, finely minced garlic and coriander leaves.

Coat well on the prepared garlic butter over the dough evenly

Spread with mozzarella cheese on half of the dough. Season with chili flakes, oregano and mixed herbs.

Fold the dough and seal the edges properly.

Do coat again,on top of the dough.(prepared garlic butter) also top with chili flakes and mixed herbs.

Give a gentle mark over bread( dont cut the dough)

Preheated oven at 180 degree celsius(356 degree fahrenheit,approximate) for 15 minutes.

Bake them to medium brown,watch them thoroughly while baking.

Cut the garlic bread into pieces and serve.

Mango Custard With Tutti Frooti

     MANGO CUSTARD WITH TUTTI FROOTI






INGREDIENTS:

• Milk 2 CUPS

• Mango Custard Powder 2 1/2 tbsps

Roasted and Chopped CASHEWS 1/4th CUP

• Sugar 1 CUP

• Few Saffron Strands

Tutti Frooti 1/2 CUP

Cardamom Powder as required.

PROCEDURE:

Mix custard powder with milk(1/4th cup), set aside.

Soak the saffron strands in a tablespoon of warm milk for a while.

In a thick bottomed saucepan, boil 2 cups of milk to boil.

Pour the Custard mix and sugar,keep stirring continuously to  avoid lumps.

After 10 to 15 minutes, milk starts to thicken, turn off the Let it cool down completely

Add roasted cashews, cardamom powder and saffron mix. Finally, embellish the custard with colorful Tutti Frooti.

Shahi Pulao

       SHAHI PULAO



INGREDIENTS:

1.Medium Bowl Steamed Rice

Mixed Veggies (semi steamed,chopped carrots,green beans, Shredded cabbage and green peas)

1 Sliced Onions

Saffron Milk 1/4th Cup

2 Tbspns butter

Herbs: Mint leaves,Coriander Leaves & ginger garlic paste.

SPICES:Bay leaf/Cumin Seeds/Cloves/Cardamom Cinnamon stick(small).

Garam masala 1 tsp/turmeric and kashmiri chillie pwd Half tsp each.

Salt as per taste.

Nuts: Roasted Cashews and Raisins

PROCEDURE:

To the heated skillet, melt butter,addcloves, cardamom,cumin seeds,bay leaf, ginger garlic paste and sliced onions.

Add steamed veggies,saute it.

Furthermore, add turmeric, chilli pwd,garam masala,salt And saffron milk.Mix well.

Now,add steamed rice,combine well with chopped herbs. Lastly, add the roasted cashews and raisins.

NOTE:One pot healthy rice dish from Hyderabad Cuisine. Mild spiced & Rich in taste with addition of Saffron Milk, Roasted Nuts and mixed herbs.

SHAHI BHINDI MASALA


Shahi Bhindi Masala

Recipe from Hebbars Kitchen
So Simple and Scrumptious in taste..πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹goes well with Indian flat breads., chapati etc..




For onion paste:
1 big onion
2 tomatoes
2 to 3 garlic pods
1/2 inch ginger
5 to 6 almonds
12 to 14 cashews
1 1/2 cup water.
Handful of clean and dried ladies finger.cut then into one inch.
First ,in a pan,add a tsp of oil,add chopped tomatoes and onions..Fry them for few seconds..Not too transculent..
Grind this to fine paste with garlic pods,ginger, almonds and cashews with water.
Heat a Kadhi,add 2 tsps of ghee,add ladies finger ,fry till crisp.Add the grinded paste and bring it to boil.add cumin, coriander, turmeric and red chilli powder as per taste.mix with 3 tsps of curd,Add salt and crushed kasoori methi..And finally garnish and serve with fresh cream..Tastes superb!!


CINNAMON BREAD STICKS


Cinnamon Bread Sticks🍞🍞

Kids favorite πŸ’Ÿafter school snack or breakfast ... Simple to make..Try this..
8 Brown Bread (trim the edges)
4 to 6 tsps of butter or ghee
1/4 tsp of ground cinnamon
A tsp of powdered sugar.
Preheat the oven 400 deg F
In a small cup,Mix butter,sugar and ground cinnamon ..
Brush them evenly on the trimmed bread..Place them on oven tray,
Bake them till light brown.Best to dip in caramel sauce...It's tastes perfect πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹
Without oven..Just roast it on tawa on medium flame..




COCONUT MILK POWDER LADOO

In a non stick pan,add 2 tbsps of ghee,1 cup milk,2 cups of milk powder,and 2 cups of granulated sugar and a cup of dry coconut powder..Mix everything thoroughly until it's get thick..Add cardamom powder..Turn off heat..
Allow it to cool completely..Shape them into ladoo and roll them into dessicated coconut...Ready to relish ..πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ’πŸ’

Kids lunch box recipe...



1 1/2 cups grated cottage cheese
1 chopped onion and 1 chopped tomato
Ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp Garam marsala
1 tsp red chilly powder
Turmeric powder,salt ,few drops of lemon juice and coriander leaves..
1/2 tsp needs
2 tsps of ghee..



In a pan,add ghee , chopped onion and tomato..Saute until semi cook..Don't overcook to soft..The curry will turn to mushy..
Add salt,turmeric powder,kasuri method..Mix well..
Turn of stove... Finally......Add grated cheese,lemon juice and coriander leaves....Done..
A well combined side dish for chapati or Roti's....Moreover!!! It's best recipe for kids lunchbox...YummyπŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

No cooking,no chopping,no baking.. Absolutely ready in minutes.. Used assorted leftover biscuits.. With only 3 ingredients.. Delightful charms are ready to relish in...



Crush biscuits in the grinder 
Add Condensed milk.Gather the mix into a dough.
Keep the dough between two plastic sheets.
Using a rolling pin, roll it thick.Cut into desired shapes using cookie cutter or use any container lid.
Set aside for an hour@ room temperature. 
Sprinkle desiccated coconut or sprinklers or cadbury gems.

No Sugar
No Preservatives

I used Navel 🍊🍊




Wash,dry, remove the zest..Blend them nicely ..And strain out the pulp..Done..

Wheat Peanut Ladoo

Wheat Peanut Ladoo




Wheat flour 1 cup
Besan 2 tsps
Powdered sugar 1 to 1 1/2 cup
Ghee 1/2 cup
Milk powder 2 to 4 tsps
Roasted peanut powder( deskin and grind)
Cardamom powder and milk as required.
Coconut powder..

Roast wheat flour and besan flour with 2 tsps of ghee until you get a nice aroma..And later strain them in a strainer ..Just to avoid any lumps..
Add ghee,milk powder,powdered sugar, peanut powder (roasted ,   deskined and grinded)cardamom powder..Give it gentle mix..Add to size them into ladoo's ..Add required milk to shape them... Don't add too much..
Lastly..Roll them into powdered sugar...enjoy tasty ladoo's..

Trim the edges of 🍞🍞 Honey Wheat Bread Slices..i used leftover breads..Cut them into desired shapes...
On a heated skillet,smear the bread with ghee on both sides..Toast to light brown..Or bake them in the oven for 180 deg C..for 2 to 3minutes.. Make sure you preheat the oven before you use it.. I usually bake them to crisp..
Finally apply condensed milk on both sides of the toasted bread ..It will immediately soak..So u can now garnish with some tutti frooti it any other dry fruits...Tastes so good ..Ready to serve or snack into the lunch box...πŸžπŸžπŸ˜πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜πŸ˜
